Casting Equity actors for chorus parts in New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players' 2024-25 Season.
All Equity stage managerial positions have been filled.
Season
includes "Ruddigore" (Rehearses October; runs Nov. 23 (2 p.m., and 7:30
p.m.) and Nov. 24 (3 p.m.)); "The Pirates of Penzance" (Rehearses
December; runs Jan. 4, 2025 (2 p.m., and 7: 30 p.m.), Jan. 5 (3 p.m.),
Jan. 11 (2 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.), and Jan. 12 (3 p.m.)); and "Iolanthe"
(Rehearses February; runs April 5, 2025 (2 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.), and
April 6 (3 p.m.)).
Dates & Locations
Rehearses and runs in NYC. All rehearsals are evenings and weekends.

Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be
provided. Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.
Equity
singers must prepare one verse of one song. Prefer Gilbert &
Sullivan or Golden Age legit Broadway Musical selections, and bring
sheet music in the correct key. Accompanist provided. Bring a hard copy
headshot and resume.
Equity dancers must arrive warmed up and
ready to dance in comfortable dance attire and character shoes. Bring a
hardcopy headshot and resume. Actors may be asked to stay and sing. One
verse of one song, Gilbert & Sullivan, or Golden Age legit Broadway
Musical selections. Bring sheet music in the correct key. Accompanist
provided.
Performers who are based in the New York City Area are encouraged to audition.
