PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Casting Equity chorus dancers and singers for "Anastasia." Synopsis: From Tony winners Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty, and Lynn Ahrens, creators of such Broadway classics as "Ragtime" and "Once On This Island," this dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love, and family. Production states: "This show is a co-production with Fulton Theatre and Maine State Music Theatre, Brunswick, ME. We are looking to cast people available for both productions."

Compensation & Contract

Rate: $1,100.00 - $1,400.00 / week (estimated duration: not provided)
Additional: Fulton Theatre pays $1100/wk. Equity LORT B Non-Rep Contract; pays $1221/wk. Equity CORST - Tier X) Contract. MSMT pays $1400/wk. Additional contract terms for Maine State Music Theatre: Note: This is a CORST contract – Council of Resident Stock Theatres - If hired, you will be in rehearsal for one show during the day and performing another show at night. Offers are only good as a resident contract. Maine State Music Theatre does not provide cars to actors. Maine State Music Theatre’s housing is diverse and unique per property.

For dancers, be prepared to dance. Bring Jazz shoes and character shoes. If asked, be prepared to sing two contrasting short selections of your choice in a similar style to the show. Bring sheet music in the correct key. Accompanist provided.
