Additional Instructions:

EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided. Four-week NYC developmental production, with presentations on Oct. 17 and 18. Prepare a brief musical theatre singing selection, about one minute in length. Material (traditional or contemporary MT) that shows range and lyricism is most helpful here. Bring your headshot and resume stapled together. The indigenous characters in American Eclipse are members of the Ute tribe, and there are some moments that feature Shoshone language. Performers from all Indigenous/Native American backgrounds are encouraged to audition. No roles will be understudied. All Stage Managerial positions are currently filled. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination. Equity is committed to diversity and encourages all its employers to engage in a policy of equal employment opportunity designed to promote a positive model of inclusion. As such, Equity encourages performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, and ages, as well as performers with disabilities, to attend every audition. Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.
