PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Casting ''Lace-Weaver Spiders'', a feature film which centers on the opioid epidemic in rural America and the effects it has on a broken mother-daughter relationship. Synopsis: When CPS take her infant daughter, Megan, a former addict who has relapsed on oxycodone pills turns to her estranged self-centered mother, Lauren, for help. Forced by their economic hardships and personal problems, they start dealing pills which pushes them deeper into the world of drug abuse and forces them to face consequences that will change their relationship forever in the backdrop of a poverty-stricken rural American town.
Tracy
is Megan’s infant (6 months to one year old) daughter that is taken by
CPS. She has been living with Megan in her car before being taken by
social services. MUST BE OLDER THAN 6 months old by August 18th.
