For consideration, prepare a contemporary monologue no more than two minutes in length. 

Videos should be shot in landscape (horizontally) in a well-lit (not backlit) space. State your name, height, and piece and show a full length shot of your body at the top of your recording, and then cut to your monologue shot from the chest up. Email your headshot/resume and video submission in a non-downloadable format (private YouTube link, Vimeo, etc.) to

Sasha (Masha) - any race/ethnicity, mid-twenties. Brooding. (Role cast.)


Samuel (Sorin) - any race/ethnicity, sixties. Irene’s college friend/practically her brother. Retired Lawyer. 

Jovial, yet full of the sense that his best years are behind him. (Role cast.)


Nina - Bi-Racial Black/white, early twenties. Beautiful, charismatic. Naïve about the ways of the world, but becomes quite jaded.


Pauline (Paulina) - any race/ethnicity, fifties. Irene’s good friend. Unhappy in her marriage to Darren.
