Production Description

Seeking assistant stage manager for "Julius Caesar,' and "Pride & Prejudice." Company states: "Aquila Theatre Company, a touring theatre company specializing in reimagined classic works and based out of NYC, is seeking an assistant stage manager for rehearsals. This year we are preparing a new adaptation of 'Julius Caesar' and a newly devised version of 'Pride & Prejudice.'"

Creatives and Crew

Assistant Stage Manager:

someone to assist the Production Stage Manager in setting up and running rehearsals in New York City. Possible duties include being on book, recording line notes, tracking technical elements, setting up the space, running quick errands, helping with reports and schedules, timekeeping, and running the rehearsal if the PSM is absent. Good organization, proficiency with maintaining digital paperwork, and ability to work collaboratively required. Previous devising experience and the ability to drive are preferred but not required.

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearses Aug. 10-Sept. 20 (Monday-Saturday; 10 a.m.-7 p.m.) at a studio in Midtown Manhattan; tech rehearsal will be held Oct. 1 in L.A. Production states: "Includes a NYC Preview Performance Sept. 20 (Sundays and Labor Day off)."

Compensation & Contract Details

All Roles

Pays: $720.00/ Week

Total: $4,320.00 for an estimated 6 weeks of work
