Film your audition in front of a clean
background, with no backlighting. As much as possible, limit ambient

do not use Bluetooth headphones, as it can sometimes cause a delay in
the audio. Use a secondary audio source to play the accompaniment music
so that it is audible in the tape.

film written by Oscar winner Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Castaway) and Bob Gale with Music
and Lyrics by 3 time Grammy and 2 time Emmy winning Alan Silvestri (Forrest Gump, Polar Express,
Ready Player One) and 6 time Grammy Award winning Glen Ballard (Man In The Mirror, Jagged Little
Pill, Ghost - The Musical).
SEEKING:
JENNIFER: Late teens/early 20s. A smart all-American girl with a heart of gold. The girlfriend of Marty
McFly. A brilliant pop singer and strong dancer in a range of styles, including partnering.
STRICKLAND: 30s-50s. The uptight authoritarian headmaster at Marty’s high school. A strong comic
with a great voice. May cover DOC.
DAVE: 20s. Marty McFly’s older brother. Great comic with a high rock tenor. Skateboarding and guitar
skills a plus. Strong dancer in a range of styles. May cover MARTY.
LINDA: 20s. Marty McFly’s older sister. Great comic with a strong belt/mix in the upper register.
Strong dancer in a range of styles, and solid harmony experience.
ENSEMBLE: 20s-30s. Excellent, versatile singers capable of singing in both musical theatre and pop
styles. Solid experience with harmony work. Looking for a range of dance styles from contemporary
musical theatre as well as varying 80's genre and 50's rock and roll. Partnering skills also will be
explored.
