Production Description

Seeking Northeast and New England-based stage managers for Shakespeare in the Woods' 2022 production of "Titus Andronicus". Production states: "SitW is looking for individuals with strong stage management skills who are also comfortable running tech (outdoor portable lighting board, sound), have an understanding and enjoyment of Shakespeare, and are enthusiastic about working in collaborative environment and outdoor conditions. QTBIPOC folks are strongly encouraged to apply. SitW intentionally stages with minimal tech in an effort to embrace the natural landscape versus imposing upon it."

Creatives and Crew

Stage Manager:
ideally has experience with Shakespeare and outdoor theatre. Comfort also running minimal lighting and sound tech during performances.

Rehearsal and Production Dates & Locations

Rehearses July 25 virtually and Aug. 1 in Manchester, VT; runs Sept. 7-11th.

Compensation & Contract Details

All Roles

Estimated payment amount: $1,400.00 - $1,400.00 for 7 weeks of work

Additional: Pays $200/wk stipend for the duration of contract. The contract also includes housing and roundtrip transportation to/from VT from within the Northeast.
