House Labor HHS Appropriations Subcommittee will markup its FY 23 funding bill

This evening the House Labor HHS Appropriations Subcommittee will markup its FY 23 funding bill, which includes $565 million in advanced funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and $60 million for the interconnection system and system wide infrastructure. $565 million is $40 million over the previous enacted level and in line with the Biden-Harris budget request. The $60 million for the interconnection system is $40 million over the previous enacted level. The markup starts at 5:30 PM and you can watch here.

As expected, the Interior Subcommittee approved its FY 23 bill on Tuesday, sending it to the full Appropriations Committee by a voice vote.

Next week the full Appropriations Committee is scheduled to consider the Interior bill on Tuesday and the Labor HHS bill on Thursday.
