Seeking vocalists for the United States Navy Band Sea Chanters Chorus. Company states: "As the United States Navy’s official chorus, the Sea Chanters perform regularly for the President, Vice President, and numerous congressional, military, and foreign dignitaries. With unmatched versatility, they perform a variety of music including traditional choral music, sea chanteys, patriotic fare, opera, Broadway, and contemporary music. In addition to a yearly national tour and concerts in the Washington, D.C. area, the Sea Chanters are frequently featured at our most important national events, the White House and U.S. Capitol, as well as NFL and other professional sporting events."

All materials, including audio recordings (if applicable), are due March 11 (11:59 p.m. ET). Production states: "Step one: Fill out the U.S. Navy Band Audition Application. Current military members only - additionally, send a Letter of Endorsement from your OIC to usnbauditions@us.navy.mil. Step two: Preliminary audition. You may choose from the following options: Option A: Attend a live open-call preliminary audition in Washington, D.C. on May 2 (the day before the invite-only audition); candidates advanced to the invitation-only audition will be notified later in the day. A live accompanist will be provided. For details on this option or to secure an audition time, you must formally apply using Step one by March 22. Repertoire requirements can be found on the following page; or option B: Submit audio recordings, either with an accompanist or backing track. Audio recordings are due by March 22. Candidates invited to the final audition will be notified by March 29, and will only attend the second day of the audition (May 3). Repertoire requirements can be found on the following page. Preference will not be given to any candidate based on their choice of preliminary option. It is important to reply to all email correspondence in a timely manner in order to successfully complete your registration and confirm attendance at the audition."
