Ronnie Larsen, playwright; Stuart Meltzer, dir.; Gabriel Salgado, dir. assist.

Seeking Equity actors for roles in "The Actors."

Synopsis: A new play written by Ronnie Larsen is one man's journey to end his loneliness and loss of his parents. Ronnie hires a set of "professional" actors to portray his folks and what sounds like the best solution at the time, turns into the folly of mishaps and the accidental creation of a real make-shift family.

Clarence
Lead. All Genders. 18-99
A white male-identifying between the ages of 60 and 70 who has strong physical comedy skills and a strong command of language and text. Clarence is an out-of-work actor who has been hired as a replacement father for Ronnie. His ethics are put to the test as he finds the easiest well- well-paying gig of his life and he takes full advantage.

To apply, see the "Key Details" section below.

Real Jay
Lead. All Genders. 18-99
A white male-identifying between the ages of 45 and 55. Jay is the real-life brother of Ronnie and has his world seemingly put together. Jay is physically fit, "straight", married, and a father. He comes back into the picture because of his brother, Ronnie's eccentric ways of making a family are unhealthy and unnecessary.
