Camp
Kingswood is a traditional, coed sleepaway camp, located in a beautiful
wooded area known for summer camps and recreational facilities. The
camp runs two productions over the course of the summer during theater
clubs and elective periods, as well as runs theater games on a rotating
activity schedule. An ideal staff member is able to also bring pieces
into the other elements of camp and offer a wide variety of other themes
and activities in addition to directing the play. A strong
international staff dynamic and a positive camp culture make this a
great place to work.
Ideal Summer Camp Candidates:
Have experience directing youth theater productions or teaching youth theater classes in a summer camp setting.
Has strong leadership skills
Have a lot of energy, and an ability to keep a fun vibe going even when children are tired
Are comfortable managing large groups of children
Are confident in their time management skills
Are organized and detail-oriented
Enjoy working as part of a team

camps, provides training and support.
