Additional Instructions:
An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition. Prepare either one monologue not exceeding three min., two contrasting monologues not exceeding three min. in total, or a brief cut of a song and short monologue to not exceed more than three min. in total. If interested in being considered for HILMA, prepare a song. Email casting@wilmatheater.org for an audition appointment and indicate your Equity status. Give any conflicts for the day. Opal: 19-20. Black. One of Juicy’s only friends.
Larry: 21-23. Black. A boy that is attracted to Juicy. A marine.
Rabby: 40-45. Black. Larry and Opal’s mother. Tedra’s friend.
MY MAMA AND THE FULL-SCALE INVASION
Mother: woman, any race, 60s-70s
Daughter: woman, any race, 30s-40s

GOOD PERSON OF SETZUAN
All roles available: all gender and racial identities, 20s and up
HILMA, A NEW OPERA
Five female-identifying and/or non-binary singers: ages can range from 35 to 60.
Equity
encourages everyone participating in the auditions to wear a two-ply
cloth face mask, surgical mask, singer’s mask or respirator (N95, KN95
or KF94). Single-ply face masks, gaiters and bandanas are not

Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to
arriving at the audition venue, to the extent that they can (e.g., get
dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and dressing
rooms.
