Opera San Luis Obispo presents Johann Strauss' Die Fledermaus!

San Luis Obispo (OperaSLO) is holding Auditions for its 2023
full-production of Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss. This production
will feature two, 2pm matinee performances in Miossi Hall of the
Performing Arts Center San Luis Obispo on May 13th and 14th. This
production of Die Fledermaus will be performed in English and set in the
in the tone of the vivacious energy of a late 1970s Disco and offer a
rare performance opportunity featuring full sets, costumes, dance,
chorus, and accompanied by the full OperaSLO Grand Orchestra
approximately (60-person ensemble). The production will be stage
directed by Zach Johnson, choreographed by Drew Silvaggio, and with
music direction by Brian Asher Alhadeff (General and Artistic Director
of OperaSLO).

Candidates
only interested in specific leading roles must prepare a piece from the
show sung by the character you are auditioning for.
