Production Description
An
original musical written in 2020, SCOUTS is an story of gender,
inclusivity, and a giant Moth. Journey back to Summer 1989 in the small
mountain town of Point Pleasant, West Virginia where the rival troops of
Brother Scouts and Sister Scouts are at war.. Alex is a brave,
hotheaded, authority-questioning Sister, and Travis is a rule-following,
loyal, friendly Brother. Alex doesn’t feel at home with her fellow
Sisters and wonders what her life would be like as a Brother Scout.
Suddenly! Their lives are uprooted when a Scoutmaster goes missing and
the eight young Scouts venture into the deep woods (without adult
supervision)...and who knows, something might be looking for them too…
