Casting
Equity actors for roles in Weathervane Theatre's 2024 Season. The
season includes: "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical," (Ethan Paulini,
dir.); "What The Constitution Means to Me," (Ethan Paulini, dir.);
"Skeleton Crew," (Mia Y Anderson, dir.); "Everybody's Talking About
Jamie," (Ethan Paulini, dir.); "Gallery," (Richard Maltby Jr., dir.);
"The Full Monty," "Clue," "Rome and Juliet," (Nathaniel P. Claridad,
dir.); and "Cabaret" (Ethan Paulini and Jessica Chen, co-dirs.-choreos.)
Synopsis:
This is a 9-show Alternating Repertory Schedule. All Equity Actors will
perform in 3-7 productions. We do not job in for individual productions
with the possible exception of "Cabaret" and "Beautiful." Contracts
range from 2 weeks to 23 weeks depending on casting. Contracts may start
and conclude at any point during the season so specific conflicts or
other jobs should not prevent members from attending.
Roles in this project
Rehearses on or around May 27, 2024; runs June 13-Oct. 23, 2024, with a possible extension through Oct. 20, 2024.

- Lunch 1-2 p.m.
Auditions will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis on the morning of the audition. Sign-ups will begin at 9 a.m.
For
the audition, prepare a brief musical selection that demonstrates how
you might best fit into the 2024 productions. Please have additional
selections, including monologue, ready upon request. Please bring your
headshot and resume stapled together.
EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided.

Synopsis:
"Gallery" is a World Premiere Musical conceived and directed by Tony
Award Winner Richard Maltby Jr. featuring Music and Lyrics by Tony Award
and Pulitzer Prize Winner Ed Kleban. The show, like the packages for
our resident company, will be built around the individual performers
hired. Actors would present clear musicianship, strong storytelling, and
authentic personality.
