Additional Instructions:
For
consideration, come prepared to dance in whatever you feel comfortable
moving in and whatever shoes you prefer. You will not need tap shoes or
pointe shoes. Also, bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

Equity
encourages everyone participating in the auditions to wear a two-ply
cloth face mask, surgical mask, singer’s mask, or respirator (N95, KN95,
or KF94). Single-ply face masks, gaiters, and bandanas are not

Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to
arriving at the audition venue, to the extent that they can (e.g., get
dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and dressing
rooms.

Seeking:
Buddy: Born a human but raised at the North Pole as a Christmas Elf, Buddy is eager to find his place in the world.
Jovie:
Buddy’s girlfriend. An employee at Macy’s with a cynical outlook on
life and love because of the men she’s dated. Caught off guard by
Buddy’s genuinely big heart.
Walter: Buddy’s workaholic father. A
children’s book writer who lacks Buddy’s childlike spirit. Selfish,
tense, and generally angry with life.
Emily: Walter’s wife. Sweet and willing to take in Buddy. Wishes her husband would spend more time with the family.
Michael: Buddy’s stepbrother. Age 12-16.
Deb: Walter’s secretary. A bit of a suck-up and feels underappreciated.
