We've launched an
AEMI Action Network petition campaign
that will remain open through March 16th.
We ask that the AEMI unions send an action alert to your email lists either this week or next week if possible. Feel free to post to your social media channels any time from now through March 16th.

The petition is again directed only at U.S. House members, and the template message urges Representatives to sign the bipartisan NEA and NEH appropriations request letters. Each letter requests $213 million for the respective agency (an increase from the current funding level of $207 million each).
The NEA letter is led by Reps. Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR), Mike Turner (R-OH / Arts Caucus Co-Chair), and Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-OH). The NEH letter is led by Rep. Dina Titus (D-NV) and Rep. Mike Carey (R-OH).
