The Penn South Waiting Lists for Studio and One-Bedroom Apartments ARE OPEN Via Limited Lotteries Today,
September 14, 2023, Mutual Redevelopment Houses opened its external
waiting lists for studio and one-bedroom apartments, through limited
lotteries conducted by the City of New York. Advertisements are
currently running in New York Daily News, AM New York, Amsterdam News, and El Diario and online on the Mitchell-Lama Connect website. Requests must be received by October 4, 2023. ask that you respect the rules of this process and refrain from
visiting, calling, or mailing the Management Office with inquiries
related to the waiting lists. Our staff has been instructed to refer
everyone to the advertisement when asked about the waiting lists or
lotteries. The
lotteries will be conducted entirely by HPD. Within a few months of the
lottery, HPD will provide the Management Office with a list of
applicants who were selected in the lotteries. Following that,
Management will mail applications to those households. Only applicants
who are selected in the lotteries will be notified. Help
us spread the word about electronic newsletters at Penn South. If
anyone in your household, or any neighbor you know in Penn South, is not
yet receiving notices by email, ask them to sign up. Then can send a note to residents@pennsouth.coop indicating their name, building, apartment, and email address. While there is an option to unsubscribe from these notices, we
strongly recommend that you do not unsubscribe as email is the method
that Management, Maintenance, and Security offices will use to send
emergency notices. |
