and also bring tap shoes if they want to be considered for “Finding
Christmas.” Bring pictures and resumes stapled together and cut to size.
All
singers/hosts should wear attire they can move in. Heels are
appropriate for female performers. Prepare a 16-32 bar cut of a holiday
ballad and an up-tempo holiday song. Actors bring their book in case
they're asked to sing more. Singers being considered may be asked to
move or dance (and tap for “Finding Christmas”) at the callback session.
Female
ensemble dancers auditioning for both shows should be at the 10 a.m.
session on July 31, more precision-based, to be seen by both
choreographers. The male ensemble will be seen for both shows in the
same session.
Dance callbacks for all dancers: Held in the
afternoon of July 31. Select roles may be asked to attend a vocal
callback on Aug. 1 in the morning. Talent must bring a 16-32 bar cut of
an up-tempo Christmas song clearly marked that best shows off their
