Season includes "Hair" (The Joan and Robert Rechnitz Theater. Gerome Ragni, James Rado, book-lyrics; Galt MacDermot, music; James Vásquez, dir.; Mayte Natalio, choreo. Rehearsals begin Sept. 5; previews Sept. 30; runs Oct. 6-22, possible extension to Oct. 29), "The Scarlet Letter" (The Joan and Robert Rechnitz Theater. Kate Hamill, playwright; Nathaniel Hawthorne, novel; Shelley Butler, dir. Rehearsals begin Jan. 9, 2024; previews Feb. 3; runs Feb. 9-25), "A Thousand Maids" (Marion Huber Theater. Tony Meneses, playwright; May Adrales, dir. Rehearsals begin March 12, 2024; previews April 6; runs April 12-28), and "Gem of the Ocean" (The Joan and Robert Rechnitz Theater. August Wilson, playwright; Delicia Turner Sonnenberg, dir. Rehearsals begin May 14, 2024; previews June 8; runs June 14-30).
