PEACH FUZZ - BODY DOUBLE CASTING
I'm casting PEACH FUZZ; a dramatic short from writer director Hannah Sperling. Actress Oona Laurence (THE BEGUILED) is attached to play the lead role of Mia. Storyline : On her 21st birthday, Mia struggles under the mounting pressure of her final week in culinary school, facing one of the most demanding recipes in her class while battling a destructive eating disorder - manifested as a cunning and sinister caterpillar only she can see. As the day unfolds, she must confront her deepest fears and the deadly grip of her illness before it consumes her entirely.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN: [PLUS SIZED MIA BODY DOUBLE] 18-30, white, female. Fuller frame, plus sized body type, roughly 5’2-5’4. Plays the distorted “larger” version of Mia seen in the locker room mirrors. Only shown from the shoulders down. Must closely match the lead actor’s movement and physicality for synchronized mirror action. *Please note this is a film depicting eating disorders, and that this is a depiction of body dysmorphia from the perspective of the main character.* 1 day of shooting.
[SLENDER MIA BODY DOUBLE] 18-30, white, female. Petite and very slender, roughly 5’2-5’4. Plays the distorted “smaller/skinnier” version of Mia seen in the mirrors. Measurements must be smaller than this: Inseam - 29 inches, Hip - 28 inches, Waist - 24 inches, Chest - 32 inches. Only shown from the shoulders down. Must precisely mirror the lead actor’s posture and movement. *Please note this is a film depicting eating disorders, and that this is a depiction of body dysmorphia from the perspective of the main character.* 1 day of shooting
