MJ - Male, Black, to portray Michael Jackson in his late 20s - early 30s. Fantastic singer (able to sing
in a high tenor and falsetto range) and dancer.

MICHAEL/TOUR SINGER/ISLEY BROTHER - Male, Black, to portray Michael Jackson in his late
teens and early 20s. Excellent singer (able to sing in high tenor and falsetto range) and dancer.
Doubles as a Tour Singer and Isley Brother.

LITTLE MICHAEL – Male, Black, to portray Michael Jackson at about age 10, a fantastic singer and
dancer. Unchanged singing voice.

LITTLE MARLON – Male, Black to portray Marlon Jackson at about age 12, a great dancer and
singer. Understudies the role of Little Michael. Unchanged singing voice.

ROB/JOSEPH JACKSON – Male, Black, 40s-50s. Rob is the director of the Dangerous Tour
Michael is rehearsing, and in flashbacks becomes Joseph Jackson, Michael’s forceful and dominating
father. Great singer (baritenor/tenor range).

RACHEL - Female, any ethnicity, 20s-30s. Smart, inquisitive, ambitious but warm. Single minded
documentary filmmaker and journalist. Singer.

KATE/KATHERINE JACKSON – Female, Black, 30s-40s. Kate is a back-up singer for Michael and
in flashbacks becomes Katherine Jackson, Michael’s warm and loving mother. Fantastic, soulful
singer with extraordinary vocal range.

TITO JACKSON/QUINCY JONES/TOUR SINGER/JACKIE WILSON – Male, Black, 30s. Quincy
Jones, an iconic record producer/musician. Tito Jackson, Michael’s older brother; fantastic singer
(baritone/tenor range) who moves very well. Doubles as a Tour Singer and Jackie Wilson.

NICK/BERRY GORDY/DON CORNELIUS/DOCTOR - Male, Black, 40s-50s. Nick is the organized
and authoritative stage manager for the Dangerous. In flashbacks, becomes Berry Gordy, the iconic
record producer and founder of Motown. Great singer (baritone range).

DAVE - Male, 40s-50s. Michael’s fastidious business manager. Singer.

ALEJANDRO – Male, 30s. Humorous, fun-loving, fan of MJ, who is good at his job as a
documentary camera man. Singer.
