Production Description
Calling all actors, artists, and storytellers!
Litnerd
is looking for skilled actors, artists, and storytellers to join the
Remote Litnerd Teaching Artist Community! We service schools with live
interactive workshops by streaming actors into K-5 classrooms! Join our
mission to increase childhood literacy rates across America By Bringing
Books To Life!
Resident Teaching Artists will act live, as well
as on pre-recorded tapes, for elementary school students, helping to
boost literacy rates by matching theatrical performance with guided
e-book reading. We use the medium of theatre to get kids excited and
passionate about reading!
Currently, we are looking for Black
women to apply for "Maya Gives Her Feelings a Name", but are also hiring
other teaching artists for other positions.
