Casting and seeking crew for "Young Frankenstein (West End Version)," a musical. Production states: "Come to the beautiful mountains of Colorado for our annual summer production! We are seeking Designers and performers for Mel Brooks' musical comedy Young Frankenstein. Housing and transportation are provided, and additional paid opportunities are available to interested performers. Actor rates start at $250/week plus travel and housing. Additional paid opportunities: Daytime teaching artist for local M-F youth classes at $25-$30/hour for lead teacher positions and $18 - $20 per hour for assistant teacher positions. Wardrobe maintenance/costume assistant - (oversees cleaning/repairing costumes during run). TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences) performer - additional production that occurs during our summer."

Compensation & Contract

Young Frankenstein Cast: Lead

Rate: $250.00 / week

Total Pay: $2,750.00 for an estimated 11 weeks of work

Directors, Stage Managers and Designers: Staff / Crew

Rate: $250.00 - $800.00 / week

Total Pay: $2,750.00 - $8,800.00 for an estimated 11 weeks of work

Additional: Housing and transportation are provided. Union contract available for director role. Non-union for performers.

Additional Instructions:

(Actors) For consideration, submit a headshot and/or resume, vocal 16-32 bars, (a comedy piece within the vocal range preferred). Submissions do not need to be new material for these initial submissions, just a good example of your abilities- reels ok, acting short: 30 seconds is sufficient, dance, any video material available, tap dancing especially, and any additional material the talent would like to share with production (website, etc.), and note if the talent is interested in being considered for a particular role, let production know that as well. Submit video links (youtube, Vimeo, etc.). Do not submit downloadable video files. Actor rates start at $250/week plus travel and housing.
