PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Seeking performers for Mythik Camps summer programs, a mythology-themed outdoor experience for kids aged 7-11. An outdoor immersive children's live-action story adventure event.

Production stated: "Performers join on Quest Day to bring tales from mythology, history, and fiction to life. We plunge our campers into the center of the action. They are transported to another world and given the chance to prove themselves as legendary heroes. There are (foam) sword fights, puzzles, negotiations, and performance challenges as they journey to complete their heroic Quest. Learn more about the company on the website."

Agamemnon / Ensemble
Lead. Male. 18+
Once commander of all the Greeks in the Trojan War, Agamemnon had the (totally deserved) worst homecoming ever. Now he’s on a redemption quest - but without actually having to do the redeeming himself part. He shows up at camp, doing his best impression of a Heroic Ally and asking for help with his comeback campaign - but this guy is clearly sus. It’s the Phoenix Egg he’s really after.

Descendent of Ma’at. She brings the Phoenix Egg to the demigods and asks them to guard it, warning them that its presence will attract people trying to make a comeback - for good or ill. Her divine heritage gives her an acute ability to read vibes and sense whether people have good intentions.

Long ago, Shango realized his destructive battle rage was too much for the earth and removed himself from it. He didn’t quite realize what Megara was up to when she borrowed his axes and now recognizes the need to set things right. Storms have their time and place, after all, and even tumultuous emotions have their good side.

A trickster god of the crossroads and traveling, Eshu is annoyed at how much mortals today take easy travel for granted, especially with GPS and location tracking. Part of the joy of travel is getting a little lost sometimes. So he’s decided to mess with our ability to find our way, and he saw interfering with Inga and her navigational tool as a perfect way to make his point.

This Irish adventurer usually spends his time sailing among the many islands of the Otherworld - because, thanks to fairy magic, if he ever returns to the mortal world, he’ll drop dead immediately. He long ago decided that wasn’t such a bad deal. But now he’s been displaced from his fairyland island home, and he’s only not dead because apparently, a demigod camp doesn’t count as setting foot on mortal land. He’d quite like to go home, though.

After her exhaustion causes her to ignore a plea from a mortal soul, her regret over that failure makes her just want to give up entirely. Perhaps, getting rid of her soul will make it all easier to bear. She’s put it in a jar and is offering it as the prize in a competition.

The Devourer of Souls does not want this one. She only devours wicked souls. Psyche’s her friend. They do cross-pantheon consultations. She’s come to the demigods for help so that no one who will eat Psyche’s soul gets a hold of it.
