Two couples meet to discuss a fight that occurred between their two 11-year-old sons.
All onstage roles are cast. Still seeking the following Understudies:
One Male Understudy: AVAILABLE. Covers the following two roles:
Michel: 40s. Married to Veronique. Outwardly warm and initially conciliatory, but becomes
quite volatile.
Alain: 40s. Married to Annette. A lawyer in the midst of an important case. Initially seems emotionally removed and focused solely on his work.
One Female Understudy: AVAILABLE. Covers the following two roles:
Veronique: 40s. Married to Michel. A liberal writer, she sees herself as someone who stands up for justice.
Annette: 40s. Married to Alain. Fashionable, polite; often acquiescent to her husband.
Casting Director's statement: "Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend."
