The Actors Fund Housing Development Corporation, in partnership with Douglaston Development and Clinton Management, is excited to spread the word about a new affordable housing opportunity in Hell’s Kitchen. Rialto West is a mixed-use affordable housing development located near 10th Avenue between 48th and 49th Streets, just steps from the Theater District. Register now for a free educational webinar on how to apply. You’ll learn about the lottery process, tenant selection criteria, and how to prepare and submit a strong application through NYC Housing Connect. You can also apply now on NYC Housing Connect. The deadline to apply is July 20.

The eight-story building will include 157 permanently affordable housing units serving low- to moderate-income households. Building amenities include free broadband internet, on-site laundry, bicycle storage and a fitness room. The ground floor will include approximately 5,500 square feet of affordable rehearsal and co-working space for artists, operated by the non-profit IndieSpace. Right next to the new building will be Lorraine Hansberry Plaza, a public open space designed and maintained by the New York City Parks Department.
