Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking people for paid background work on the series OUT THE KITCHEN to portray Large Intimidating criminals (Non-SAG-AFTRA COVERED)
Tentative work dates: 5/6 & 5/7 + possible tbd dates.
Interior / exterior work in NYC area.
Non-SAG-AFTRA rate: $187/10hrs
Must not have worked already.
No recording devices of any kind are permitted on set. This includes
cell phones, cameras, audio devices, smartwatches, or any wearable
technology capable of capturing or transmitting information.
Scanning: Please note that if cast, this engagement may require scanning
and related services. In connection with the engagement, production
will require their standard scan consent which simply states that the
Artist consents to scanning in connection with the Series for use in the
Series subject to all the SAG-AFTRA requirements and rules.
I‑9 verification will be completed on set in accordance with federal law. If you do not complete Section 1 of Form I‑9 and present acceptable original I‑9 documents (see Form I‑9 Acceptable Documents), you will not be permitted to work. Individuals holding employer‑specific nonimmigrant work visas (for example, O‑1, P‑1, or H‑1B visas) sponsored by an agent or another employer are not eligible for consideration. The production does not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Single payer healthcare UAW
UAW Detroit Region 1-A in will hold a Single Payer For All Forum on Saturday, May 2nd, at 12 Noon at the regional headquarters 9650 S. Telegraph Road in Taylor, Michigan.
Under the title "What is Improved and Expanded Medicare For All" and "Why Do We Need it?" the forum will hear from Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib and by video from Shawn Fain, UAW International President, in addition to representatives from Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) and others.
The event is cosponsored by a number of local organizations including Michigan for Single Payer; Detroit Catholic Pastoral Alliance, Southeast Michigan for Single Payer.
The meeting is hosted by Mark DePaoli Director of Region 1-A and a member of the UAW International Executive Board.
The Forum will be lived streamed on Facebook on Sat. May 2, 2026, at 12 N Eastern.
