Next GIAA meeting/reading: Tue July 21, 6:30 PM

The next GIAA meeting/reading will be on Tuesday July 21 at 6:30 PM.

We will once again meet at the apartment of Jordan Auslander, 321 W. 24th St., #21J.

Jordan has written modern adaptations of 2 Moliere plays, and we will be reading these: The Ridiculous Posers and The Rehearsal at Versailles.

There are a lot of roles for both men and women in both plays.

Casting 2 males, 18-24, for horror short "Foreclosed"

Larralley Productions (http://www.larralleyproductions.com) and Swordfish Films (http://www.swordfishfilms.com) are co-producting Mara Lesemann's horror short Foreclosed, which was read at June's GIAA meeting.

The project will shoot the weekends of Aug 22-23 & 29-30 in the Poconos (PA) and the Philadelphia area; transportation will be provided (either a ride or gas & toll reimbursement).

Auditions will be Thursday evening July 16 in NYC.

No pay; food & overnight accommodation will be provided as well as a copy of the dvd. Movie will be for the festival circuit in 2010.

Synopsis: A group of teens steal the keys to a foreclosed home for a little party. Things don't go as planned and the night becomes a terrifying ordeal for all of them.

We're looking for 2 male actors, ages 18-24.
(1) Jason: late teens, quiet type looking for his friends' approval and
(2) Frankie: late teens, the dominant figure manipulating his friends for his own benefit.
