Hi everyone As promised, we want to provide you
with more information on what AEMI unions can do to help
protect funding for the National Endowment for the Arts,
National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Corporation
Public Broadcasting. At the present time, we think it makes
strategic sense for AEMI unions to publicize and promote
Americans for the Arts’ online petition. The petition
currently has nearly 23,000 signatures, but can certainly
use many more signers.
We encourage AEMI unions to ask their
members to sign the petition, to feature a link to the
petition in a prominent place on the front pages of your
websites, and to promote the petition through your social
