The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM.
Mara Lesemann made a motion that GIAA member Deb Klaar be made an Alternate Councilor; Simcha Borenstein seconded the motion. It was passed unanaimously.
Simcha Borenstein reported that the current comedy club run of the play Clemenza and Tessio are Dead, which received a stage reading by GIAA last spring, is going well.
The video short Lactoxity, which GIAA cast, is currently being edited by Carlo Fiorletta and Mara Lesemann; it will be submitted to festivals once it is done.
Submissions for the 2009 GIAA Film Fest will open in January; it may be extended to 3 days (from 2 days in 2008) to accommodate the addition of music videos and full length movies.
This concluded the business portion of the meeting.
A reading of Mara Lesemann's short play A Temporary Cat and Mario Fratti's short play Iraq (Blindness) followed. Both are being produced by Mara's company Larralley Productions in March; Carlo Fiorletta and Simcha Borenstein are directing.
